Great food, big portions and friendly staff

Very good food, love being on the river.

First time here. We were really impressed with the food. It was delicious and they have very generous portions.

This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants. My wife and I have been going here nearly every week for almost a decade. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is inviting, and the specials are always great deals.

Really good food i had the snow crab legs and they where cooked to perfection. And the flavor of them was amazing.

Best resturaunt around!! The staff is amazing the food is superb and the view you are going to get while you enjoy your meal is unlike any other view in the area! it sits on the Iowa river with indoor and outdoor dinning options. a must stop if you're in the area looking for great food and great people!

My husband and I had our anniversary dinner here. Not only was the food amazing but so was the wait staff. Highly recommended this place.

The "special" was decent and reasonably priced for once. They also didn't appear to be out of anything, which was a nice surprise.

First time and loved the atmosphere. The service and food was top notched. We asked to see the boss he came out and visited with us. We will be back.

The best place in town.

We walked and was promptly greeted. We sat down and table was dirty. Waitress cleaned table off and took our drink order. Ice tea was just uh ok I guess. We ordered lunch and I ordered chicken strip kids meal. With mash potatoes/ brown gravy. The chicken was brought out cold greasy and had a slight tough texture to it. I asked for it to be warmed up. When she brought it back out it was N A S T Y. It didn't even look good anymore afterwards.The mash taters were so peppery it was all I could taste. I will NOT GO BACK AGAIN.

Perfect for family get-2-gethers. We always enjoy the smiles, great service, and of course the wonderful views.

Food was delicious, but service was the worst we've ever experienced anywhere. We got our drinks & gave our food order, and over a half hour later, the waitress finally came back to ask us if she was our waitress (???), and of course our order had not been turned in. When we finally got our meal, my potato was completely wrong, and that took another 15 minutes to correct. To top it off, we never got our ticket and had to have the hostess find our so--called waitress. They did only charge 50% of the cost of my meal, but I think no one in management ever heard what happened.

We eat hear often and have never had a bad meal. Busy or slow, the service, food, and steak are always prepared perfectly. The walleye is the specialty but I prefer the parmesan encrusted tilapia.

Great "Iowa food" - pork tenderloin, catfish, and walleye are great. The burgers, checken, and other items are also good.

the walleye is the best, light and crisp when fried; the shrimp are the best when fried, grilled or you name it. the wait staff is always friendly and fast. catfish is very good too. prices are very reasonable. they also have a noon special menu which is varied and inexpensive and good.

Wasn't impressed the fish I heard such great things about was dry

We were traveling through and decided to stop. We entered the building then were quickly told it would take forever to get food as if the staff had already wanted us to leave. Awakard enough we waited to be seated. (not many places to choose from in the middle of no where) We sat outside, which was an amazing view. Not so amazing when they opened the umbrella as we noticed a wasp and a nest hidden inside. We waited for a while wondering if we were going to get served. I wish I would have got the name of the young gentleman who stopped to see if we wanted waters, who also sat us and later on ran our food, as well as grabbed our bill to ring up while he checked to see how everything went which is more than we can say for our server. Then after waiting almost 20 minutes for our change she finally came back. End result, it did take forever, but not because of the wait on food. More so the service.

Food is always good service is great as well I would recommend it if your in the area. Have no idea what racist decor comment is about .
